大源渡航电枢纽工程位于湖南省衡阳市境内湘江干流,是一个以航运为主,兼有发电、交通、养殖等综合效益的大(2)型水运工程,为开通衡阳至岳阳400多公里湘江千吨级航道奠定了基础,实现了湘江航电结合、以电养航,为内河开发创出一条新路,也是湖南院在灯泡贯流式机组电站设计史上的又一个新的里程碑。1996年开工,2000年建成。水库总库容4.5亿m3。船闸为Ⅲ级,通航标准为一顶四艘千吨级。低水头径流式电站,河床式厂房,装机容量129.6MW(4×30 MW+1×9.6 MW)。灯泡贯流式水轮发电机组,水轮机转轮直径7.5m,最大水头11.4m,额定水头7.2m,最小水头3m。电站清污机集清污、排污、吊放拦污栅等功能于一体。国内首创厂坝共用坝顶门机、厂房活动式屋盖布置,降低了厂房高度,节省了土建及起重设备投资,整体设计与周边环境协调美观。

It is the as-built bulb type tubular unit power station with the largest turbine runner diameter in domestic at that time.
It initiated the layout of Dam Crest Crane plus Movable Powerhouse Roof.
Dayuandu Navigation & Power Complex is located in the main stream of the Xiangjiang River within Hengyang Municipality of Hunan Province. It is a large Scale (Grade II) water-transport project mainly for navigation, and accompanied with comprehensive benefits as power generation, transport, aquatic breeding, etc. The project has made foundations for the opening of the 400km kiloton waterway in the Xiangjiang River from Hengyang to Yueyang, which realized the combination of navigation and power in the Xiangjiang River and electricity supplies for navigation, and started a new way for development of inland rivers. It is a new milestone in the HHPDI design history of power station with bulb type tubular unit. Construction of the Project started in 1996 and accomplished in 2000. Its reservoir has the total capacity of 450 million m3. The ship lock ranks Grade III and has the navigation standard of four kiloton ship in one uplifting. The project includes a low water head runoff power station and a power house in river channel. The total installed capacity is 129.6MW (4×30MW+1×9.6MW). The power station adopts bulb type turbine generating unit. Diameter of the turbine runner is 7.5m. It has the maximum water head of 11.4m, rated water head of 7.2m and minimum water head of 3m. The raking equipment in the power station has the function of decontamination, blow down and trash rack lifting. The adopted national first communal dam crest crane of plant and dam, and the movable plant-roof lowered the height of the powerhouse and saved the investment on civil works and hoisting equipments. And the integrated design of the project is well coordinated with the surroundings.
