长沙市是湖南省会城市，位于浏阳河、捞刀河与湘江交汇处。城市防洪工程建立和完善了长沙市防洪治涝工程体系，提高了城市防洪治涝能力，改善了城市环境，提升了城市品质。工程防洪标准为200～100年一遇，属Ⅰ～Ⅱ等工程。堤防、涵闸、护岸及河道整治等防洪工程主要建筑物为Ⅰ～Ⅱ级建筑物，主要包括新建、加固或改造95km防洪大堤、17km防洪墙、92处涵闸、40座电排站，以及4km河道整治。

Changsha Urban Flood Control Project 

Changshan city is the capital of Hunan Province, loated at confluence between Laodao River and Xiangjiang River. The urban flood control project has built and improved the system and promoted the ability of flood control and waterlogging harness in Changsha City, improved the urban environment, and upgrade the urban quality. The flood control standard of this project is 200～100 year meet, ranking as grade Ⅰ～Ⅱ works. The main structures standards for dyke, culvert gate, bank protection, and river harness works rank as gradeⅠ～Ⅱ, which mainly including newly building, strengthening or rebuilding flood prevention dyke 95km, flood control wall 17km, culvert gate at 92 places, 40 electrical pumping station, and river harness 4km.
