近尾洲水电枢纽位于位于湖南省衡南县境内湘江干流中游，属湘江流域梯级开发的骨干工程之一，是一个以发电为主，结合航运、灌溉等综合利用的中型水电工程。1994年开工，1998年复工，2001年建成。水库总库容1.54亿m3。砼闸坝，坝高24.5m。低水头径流式电站，河床式厂房，装机容量60MW（3×20MW）。灯泡贯流式水轮发电机组，水轮机转轮直径6.3m，最大水头10m，额定水头6.8m，最小水头3m。

 

JInweizhou Hydropower Station is located in Hengnan County of Hunan Province, at middle reach of Xiangjiang River main streams. It is one of the key projects in cascade development of the Xiangjiang River Basin, and a medium-sized hydropower project mainly engaged in power generation, but also combined with functions of navigation and irrigation. Construction of the Project started in 1994, and returned to construction in 1998 and accomplished in 2001. The reservoir has a total capacity of 154 million m3 and the concrete gate dam has the height of 24.5m. It has a low-head runoff power station and powerhouse in river channel. The station has total installed capacity of 60MW（3×20MW）, with maximum head of 10m, rated head of 6.8m, minimum head of 3m. The station adopts bulb type tubular units and diameter of turbine runner is 6.3m, with the max. head of 10m, rated head of 6.8m and min. head of 3m.
