高滩水电站位于湖南省沅陵县境内沅水一级支流酉水下游，是一个以发电为主，兼有航运等综合效益的中型水电工程。1992年开工，1996年建成。水库总库容2730万m3。砼闸坝，坝高32.6m。低水头径流式电站，河床式厂房，装机容量57MW（3×19MW）。灯泡贯流式水轮发电机组，水轮机转轮直径5.3m，最大水头12.5m，额定水头8.5m，最小水头4m。水轮机调速系统采用压力补偿型液压装置，取消了常温的压力油槽及为之配备的高压压缩空气系统。

 

Gaotan Hydropower Station is located at downstream of Youshui River - the primary tributary of Yuanshui River within Yuanling County of Hunan Province. It is a medium scale project, mainly engaged in power generation, compatible with navigation. Construction of the Project started in 1992 and accomplished in 1996. The total storage capacity is 27.30million m3. It is built with concrete sluice dam, with crest height 32.6m, low-head runoff power station, powerhouse in river channel, bulb type turbine and generator units with installed capacity of 57MW (3×19MW) , The bulb type unit has maximum water head of 12.5m, rated water head of 8.5m, minimum water head of 4. The runner diameter is 5.3m. The governor system of the turbine has adopted pressure compensation & hydraulic device, which canceled the normal pressure oil tank and the high-pressure compressed air system.
