南津渡水电站位于湖南省永州市境内湘江一级支流潇水末端,是一个以发电为主,兼顾航运、灌溉、城市供水等综合效益的中型水电工程。1989年开工,1992年建成。水库总库容6100万m3。砼闸坝,坝高22.3m。低水头径流式电站,引水式厂房,装机容量60MW(3×20MW)。灯泡贯流式水轮发电机组,水轮机转轮直径4.1m,最大水头17.8m,额定水头14.5m,最小水头8.3m。
Nanjindu Hydropower Station

It is the as-built bulb type unit power station with the highest water-head in China then. The adopted “black start-up” approach is the leading domestic technology.
Nanjingdu Hydropower Station is located in the end of Xiaoshui River, which is the first grade tributary of Xiangjiang River in Yongzhou City of Hunan Province. It is a medium-scale hydropower project mainly for generation, compatible with navigation, irrigation and urban water supply. Construction of the Project started in 1989 and accomplished in 1992. The total reservoir capacity is 61 million m3. The project adopts concrete gate dam with dam height of 22.3m. The plant is a low head runoff plant with diversion type powerhouse and with installed capacity of 60MW (3×20MW). The project adopts bulb type tubular turbine generator unit with runner diameter of 4.1m. The bulb type unit has maximum water head of 17.8m, rated water head of 14.5m, minimum water head of 8.3m.
